What do I
need to bring to my first visit? |

Bring your prescription to attend physical therapy
from your physician to satisfy the requirements of your
insurance company as well as your insurance card.

What should I wear? |

Because you will probably perform some exercises,
bring comfortable, loose fitting clothing and a pair
of sneakers. Also make sure the clothing you wear
will allow the physical therapist to easily evaluate
your problem.

How long does each session typically
take? |

The initial evaluation takes approximately one hour.
Depending on the results of this evaluation and
your specific rehabilitaion plan, subsequent sessions
will last thirty minutes to an hour.

Will my insurance cover physical therapy? |

Most insurances have benefits for physical therapy.
Please check your member booklet to know for yourself
prior to starting physical therapy or you can call your
customer service number on your insurance card to find
out your copay and deductible amounts that you will
be required to pay.
